One Hive Farm
One Hive Farm and Apiary was officially started in 2017 but the idea came about in 2014 during an Appalachian Trail hike (about 2200 miles) from Georgia to Maine. Wanting to do something for the community and live a simpler life, One Hive Farm was born.
We let the bees be bees, only checking in on them periodically to make sure they are healthy and happy. The bees reside on our 3.5 acre farm in Powhatan. We’re working our way toward producing much more than just delicious honey in the near future. Stay tuned.
