Thank you for your interest in supporting the Birdhouse Farmers Market!
Established in 2007 and relocated to the Randolph neighborhood in 2016, The Birdhouse Farmers Market is Richmond's only mid-week, urban, SNAP-accepting and matching farmers market. It's the true locavore market, with a dedicated group of vendors and a location where many of the city's best chefs do their weekly market shopping.
Birdhouse also offers children’s programming, community composting, a community garden, and works with multiple local food pantries to feed food insecure families in Richmond.
Our market takes place on Tuesday afternoons from May to November, and we now offer a year-round online market as well. Sponsorship gives our sponsors access to our customer base, both in person and online, and shows a commitment to local, sustainable food and small businesses. Our market sees more than 600 customers each week, our online market has more than 1000 shoppers registered, and our newsletter reaches 1500 people every week.
